Linin's Pokes 1: Shinespark.

No matter how much of an ass I can be, I will never get to be a villain of a pokemon movie because I'm a tool of my own pokes.

So, I thought maybe if I did more pokemon-related comics, I thought I could begin by introducing y'all to Linin's..."team". I don't know how far I'll get in this, but here's hopin' I go all the way. The number's greater than six due to off-and-on members, too.

...and Shinespark the Porygon-Z is one of them. Of all of Linin's regular party members, she seems to dislike him the least due to being "the GIR of that lot.", whatever that means. Of course, it's Linin's fault that Shinespark is even that way to begin with.

For science, Shinespark was born from a series of Porygons until she found the one she thought looked most combat-ready. The problem is, Linin only had one Ditto to make the cross, and didn't really feel like catching another. Thus, Shinespark is the progeny of a long-series of inbreds, with its "mother" Ditto doubling as its grandmother and great grandmother at the same time. If inbreeding wasn't bad enough, inbreeding with a pokemon famed for its unstable DNA is even worse. This did nothing to its stats, but its mind...ah, Linin had found the consequences of that for herself.

(I know what you're thinking. Hey! Wouldn't it just be easier for Linin to have just gotten a bunch of porygons and seen which one was best? Normally yes, but Linin ate her stylus playing Voltorb Flip.)

Despite its antics, Shinespark occasionally has its mischief mean something in the big picture. Thus, Linin doesn't believe that Shinespark is *stupid* from its lineage, but rather, "It just acts that way to screw with me at the right time."
